Global Announcement: Update on Matt Bender's Case
Matt is currently being held in Tarrant County Jail as the judge is attempting to revoke his probation (that he was never released on). He has no additional charges, no disciplinary measures in TCJ or ISF; no reason whatever for revocation, but the judge will do anything in her power to keep him locked up. This was proven first when she had him arrested on the day his trial began, again when the jury sent him home with probation at the conclusion of his trial on 10-6-17 but she "found a law" that permitted her to keep him locked up, and more recently when she had him brought back to Tarrant County Jail on a bench warrant three days before ISF was to release him to the probation office. If you're here to check up on Matt, please register on this site by setting up a username and password, then post a reply to this message and Matt's people will relay your message to him. This will help him to contact you when he is released. His next hearing is scheduled for 5-11-18. Thanks and God bless you!
